The Czech Republic has a rich wine-making tradition dating back to the 9th century. The vineyards are mainly concentrated in the Moravian region in the southeastern part of the country, benefiting from a temperate continental climate and diverse soils that support both local and international grape varieties.

While long overshadowed by its famous beer production, Czech wines are experiencing a renaissance, driven by a new generation of passionate winemakers who combine traditional expertise with modern techniques. They produce distinctive wines, particularly aromatic whites and light reds, that are gaining recognition from wine enthusiasts worldwide.

The Be Winemaker Workshop (Czech wines) offers you the opportunity to learn about the wines from the Czech Republic, about wine tasting and wine blending while creating your own bottle of Czech wine!

Antoine will first guide you through tasting a selection of Czech white wine samples from the same vineyard but with different aromatic profiles (different grape varieties or aging methods). This will help you to understand the differences and complementary aspects between these samples.

Then, like a true winemaker crafting his best wine, you’ll measure, combine, and taste those samples in varying proportions until you find your preferred blend. This will allow you to shape the final profile of your own Czech wine!

Once you’ve determined your preferred blend, you’ll create your own bottle of it through bottling, corking, capping, and personalizing your label.

You’ll leave the workshop with a bottle of your own unique blend, your personal “cuvée” created by your own hands. You can keep this one-of-a-kind bottle as a souvenir or share it with loved ones.

Throughout the workshop, Antoine will guide you to create your bottle with ease, while enjoying a relaxing, entertaining, and friendly experience!
